He is a strong and intimidating looking man, and takes no gruff from anyone. His friends respect him, but his enemies generally fear him upon experiencing his quick spell work. He is a magnificent duelist and is oftentimes chosen as the Auror for specifically dangerous tasks which is to his liking. While he believes foremost in action, he also holds the politics of any given situation rather high. He understands the minds of men and how to manipulate them to his advantage. He holds the good of the all magic-kind higher than any one person or groups of people. He is loyal to the Order without a fault. He never shows emotion in his voice, actions or mannerisms and as such he is impossible to read. Kingsley speaks slowly in a deep voice that gives the impression that what he says is final. However he moves quickly; his stride long, his eyes ever searching for danger even in the most unlikely of places. His hand is almost always resting on his wand. He has an amazing memory for faces and seemingly small events. He prides himself in the details leaving nothing to imagination. He wears a lightning bolt shaped earing in his right ear. A P P E A R A N C E Played By: Andre Braugher H I S T O R Y Kingsley was muggle-born, but no one ever knew this about him. Throughout his life he kept many secrets about himself and his past; no one person knows the whole truth. His parents were born in a poor african village, but through many hardships managed to make the nearly impossible move with Kingsley to England where they lived until they died. Kingsley was seven, and the misfortunes of his travel from Africa to England still haunts him to this day. Kingsley was the oldest of nine children. He had six sisters and two brothers, but he never knew some of his younger siblings because he went away to Hogwarts when he was eleven. None of his other brothers and sisters would join him; he was the only child with magical abilities. At school Kingsley kept to himself and his studies. The other students teased him because of his African and muggle heritage, and they made up stories about who he was and where he came from because he never told any of them. Kingsley ignored this behavior, wanting instead to become an amazing wizard and show them just how wrong they were. The year that Kingsley came of age was the same year that a tragedy shook his life and molded him into the person he is today. His family, who lived out in the country, were burnt alive in their own home while they slept. None of them survived and the newspapers said nothing of it. Kingsley never found out what the cause of the fire was, but throughout his life he blamed himself for leaving his family and making them a target for muggle-haters. It was this tragedy, and his hate for violence in general that made Kingsley vow his life to the ways of the Auror. He excelled in his training and quickly became one of the best Aurors the ministry had ever seen. Kingsley was a part of the Order during the first war, but was rarely around because he was pulling double duty at the ministry. He communicated mostly with owls and the fireplace, and provided the Order with a majority of it's information regarding the Auror office. He rejoined the Order again when it was reformed and ended up pulling triple duty. He was head of Sirius' case which kept him busy feeding false information to the ministry. He also had normal duties for the Order and the Auror Office. Lastly he was assigned as the Muggle Prime Minister's "secretary". This was likely due to his great ability to dress like a muggle, and his reputation as a great Auror.
